Dangerous Room

The Dangerous Room was designed by Fran Manzella and features a Neve 55 series broadcast console, a Pro Tools 9 HD 4 system with 32 channels of I/O (via Lynx converters) and a choice of Focal monitors.

Our system also accommodates extensive native Logic and Cubase sessions. The attached live room has two iso booths and features a vocal booth with full line of sight into the rest of the room, allowing both clear communication and good isolation for vocals or instruments. The 486 sq. foot live room hosts an 1895 Steinway Parlor grand piano, a B3 with Leslie speaker and a full collection of vintage guitar amps.

In the racks, you will see a wide selection of vintage analog gear from Teletronix, UA, Neve, Altec and Urei as well as modern standards like Mercury, Empirical Labs and Daking. A full suite of plugins are available from UAD, Oxford, Waves, Soundtoys and many others.

FLUX also has a list of 70+ microphone with classics like an AKG C12 from the 50′s, Neumann U47, RCA 44-BX, Norelco C60′s, AKG C28′s, Schoeps CMT44′s and other brands like Royer, Bock, Lauten Audio, Miktek, Shure and many others.
